For a while I have been worried about the amount of plastic bags that I use to send Beauty's lunch to school, I have to send all her food in as she is such a picky eater. I tried using bio-degradable bags but even they took energy to produce and a year to bio-degrade(if in the sunlight) so I have been wrapping the food in tea towels. Finally, using old curtain fabric, I have made bags specifically for her lunch. These bags will get washed with the rest of my washing(no extra wash needed)and not take any extra energy to keep them clean.
Not a lot but one more step towards living a sustainable life style, a greener and more eco-friendly lifestyle.
